» Gary R. Ahnquist, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.
Dr. Ahnquist completed his premedical Bachelor of Science degree at Valparaiso University in 1972. He grew up in Chicago, Illinois and attended Northwestern University Medical School where he earned his M.D. in 1976. He spent four years of Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. Dr. Ahnquist is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Ahnquist is married and has 5 children. He enjoys playing keyboards in an oldies rock and roll band, collecting Lionel trains, and playing golf.

» James Alexander, M.D., F.A.C.O.G
Dr. Alexander completed his undergraduate education at Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Arts in history. Dr. Alexander also received a D. Min. degree from the Union Theological Seminary in Virginia. He then completed his premedical education at the University of South Carolina and earned his medical degree from the University of Kentucky. Dr. Alexander went on to complete residencies in both Family Practice and Obstetrics and Gynecology at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia. He practices general gynecology within the practice but is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Alexander is married to Mary and has two children and four grandchildren and lives in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. He enjoys the study of history and spending time hiking.

» Kimberly Frazier, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.
Dr. Frazier completed her premedical education at Juniata College in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania. She attended the University of Kentucky where she received her M.D. and completed her residency. Dr. Frazier is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Frazier is married with two children and resides in Danville, Kentucky. |

» Anne Turcea, M.D.
Dr. Turcea received her medical education at the University of Louisville. She completed her training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. She was raised in Danville, Kentucky where her family lives and is happy to be back in the area. Her special interests include pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic reconstruction and general gynecologic surgery.
Dr. Turcea is married to Michael Evces, a photographer, web designer, and musician, and has one child

» Jennifer E. Stivers, M.D
Dr. Stivers completed her premedical education at the University of
Kentucky in 1998 where she was a National Merit Scholar and a Singletary Scholar. She graduated with Honors from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in 2005 and completed her residency training at UK.
Dr. Stivers grew up in Russell Springs, Kentucky, and will be residing in Danville. She is married to Chris and they have two children.

» Dianna Purdom Barker, A.R.N.P
Barker graduated from the University of Kentucky Nursing Program in 1975 and Emory University School of Medicine OB-GYN Nurse Practitioner Program in 1999. Barker obtained her Inpatient Obstetrical N.C.C. Certificate in 1990. In addition to being a Women's Health Care Nurse Practitioner and the Nurse Manager for Women's Care for the Commonwealth, Dianna is also a Certified I.C.E.A. Doula. She is a B.L.S. Instructor and is certified in Neonatal Resuscitation and A.C.L.S. She was a full-time employee of Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center for 31 years and continues to work flex in their new Women's Health Unit. She became a full-time member of our staff in the Summer of 2008 after working part-time for us the last 8 years.
Dianna is married to Lawrence Barker, Jr., a 37-year employee and supervisor for Phillips Lighting and has one daughter, Jamie M. Hamblin, who teaches music in the Casey County Public School System. Dianna and her husband, Larry, live on and enjoy their family farm in the Forkland area near Gravel Switch, Kentucky.
